Our Patrons

Mr Malcolm McCusker QC who is one of Western Australia’s most pre- eminent barristers and is well known for his commitment to helping the wrongfully convicted. He holds many esteemed positions, including Parliamentary Inspector of the Corruption and Crime Commission, as well as the Chairman of Legal Aid. He has represented and helped successfully overturn the conviction of the Mickleberg brothers, Andrew Mallard and Salvatore Fazzari, Carlos Pereiras and Jose Martinez.

The Honourable David Malcolm ACQC who after 18 years, retired from his position as Chief Justice of Western Australia and commenced his new role as Professor of Law at the University of Notre Dame Australia on 8 February 2006. He was awarded the honour of Citizen of the Year in Western Australia, in the category of the Professions for service to Law and Justice.

David Malcolm practised widely in many areas of the law including commercial and corporate law, mining, media, shipping and administrative law during his extensive career.
